In order to obtain a business license for the Government of Anguilla, the owner must submit, in addition to the Application for Business License, the following material:

1. Up-to-date resumes of each of the company's Directors/Owners;

2. Bank references for the Directors/Owners, main shareholders/owners and also current bank statements;

3. List of shareholders and proposed shareholders/owners who will have more than 5% of the business' equity showing percentages and dollar amounts;

4. Character and professional references for Directors/Owners from:

a. business executives, colleagues or representatives of professional associations or trade associations; or,
b. civic or religious leaders.

5. Amount to be invested in the business venture and sources of the funds;

6. Identification: photographs, passport number and extract from passport of Directors/Owners showing issue and validity data;

7. Places of residence of Directors/Owners during preceding five years and duration of each;

8. Recent police record for Directors/Owners not more than six months old;

9. Projected output and revenue over the first three years;

10. Projected costs over the first three years;

11. Projected profit over the first three years; and,

12. Up to date tax returns/certificate for Directors/Owners and main shareholders.
